I made the mistake of buying 2 of these. One for the upstairs kitchen and one for the downstairs kitchen. The first wouldn't drain anymore literally the second time using it. The tech had to come replace the motherboard. The second one is already on its SECOND repair (FOURTH tech appointment) IN SIX MONTHS. This is extremely inconvenient because it takes a week to get a tech to come by and once they come by to do the diagnostics, they have to order the part and that takes ANOTHER week. When it does work, it DOESN'T WORK WELL. Doesn't wash well. It often leaves bits of food and I sometimes have to do a second cycle just because plates were still greasy and dirty. Doesn't dry well. After the drying step, I would leave it for a few hours and everything would still be wet! 1.Not reliable 2.Does not clean well 3.Does not dry well Basically, it's terrible at being a dish washer!

I wish we would have returned this dishwasher right after we bought it. It does not clean the dishes and now it's leaving powder from the cleaning pods inside the unit. I would give it zero stars if I could. It does not deserve one star.

I can't believe how terrible this dishwasher is! We have had it for a week, and every time it gets run, I have to wash 3/4 of what was in it by hand! The glasses have food residue and soap scum, there's soap scum on the inside of the dishwasher door, and anything larger than a plate comes out dirtier than it went it. For an expensive dishwasher that takes over 2 HOURS to run a cycle, I expect my dishes to come clean! Ridiculous.

There is not even a single time the dishwasher does it’s job properly. Always got detergent powder left on plates or dirty plates not been cleaned properly , I have to hand wash most of them every single time. I tried different loading position for plates pans and pots,tried powder tab detergent and gel tab detergent. Nothing is improved. It became a night mare to me, I paid this with money and have to watch it just siting in my kitchen and doing nothing.It made me lost the confidence in dishwasher completely and not even dare to try another brand. I would give negative 5 stars if I can.

Pros: -Cleaned pretty good, and quiet.... while it worked. Web Chat support is convenient although not helpful due to my warranty just expiring Cons: Stopped working almost immediately after one year warranty expired, leaving us with a $350 repair bill. The timing of its failure seems like planned obsolescence.

We have been running this dishwasher for about a year now (came with the appliance package in our new house.) The dishwasher looks great and we have had no service issues with the dishwasher itself thus far but we have found it doesn't do a great job cleaning dishes. When using the normal cycle we have found that you basically have to rinse and lightly scrub all the grime off the plates/utensils (was expecting a quick rinse to do the trick) otherwise you'll just be rinsing/cleaning them off again after the wash is complete. Even the storm wash cycle would leave residue behind on plates/cutlery (important to note we rinse off our dishes quite thoroughly before putting them in, even though the manual says you don't need to.) Also for some reason slimy grime seems to collect by the seal at the bottom of the dishwasher where the door closes. It's gross and has to be wiped down very frequently (sometimes we forget and the smell is terrible) We used to have a Kenmore dishwasher that was less fancier and less expensive then this Samsung but did a way better job, in 4 years we never had one issue with dirty dishes or slimy grime residue left over. Pros; Quite, modern design, good load capacity, mechanical wise has been good for the first year Cons; Does not leave dishes sparkling clean, often residue left over, slimy greasy grime gets built up on the lower latch by the door, priced a bit high for the overall performance

Within a year after we purchased this dishwasher we had the technician came 2 different times to fix it each with the same issue - machine will start on its own and it will make noise all night all day long until we turn off the circuit breaker. I had it last fixed on July 4th last week and just 5 days later it is not powering up. I called the service centre to address this issue and the lady said she was going to have a tech call me next day but I haven’t got a response from them yet. I would not recommend this product, it truly has been very frustrating experience for our family.

I bought this dishwasher April 2017, and it’s never worked well since it was installed. I’ve called about it multiple times, and I’ve had it repaired 4 times in 2 years, now broke again, and the warranty just ran out in April this year. I bought this model because it appeared simple, no complicated features, and hoping it was user friendly.

I have owned this unit for a couple years now. Everyday, I regret having wasted my money, which is why I am still compelled to write this review after so long. I do not know where to start with my description. What I can say is that, other than malfunction problems, I can relate to every negative comment I've seen in all forums. Please believe that your dishes will come out dirtier than when they went in, unless you wash your dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. Food from one dish will be spread to every other dish in the unit. I purchased Samsung because I had previously heard good things about their products. Now, after researching a bit, I've found the real reviews on multiple websites, buried under the solicited reviews. It is simply a terribly designed unit. I will never buy Samsung again. I now pay my daughter to wash dishes, while this piece of garbage sits and looks pretty, serving absolutely no purpose, until I feel like investing in a real dishwasher. I should have kept my old unit...

I bought this dishwasher a little over a year ago and it started leaking after a couple of months. It took forever to get it fixed. No more leak but now the dishes are NEVER and I mean NEVER clean when they come out. The soap never totally empties out of the dispenser.
