I have always purchased Maytag laundry appliances. But when the dryer went out the second time I decided to purchase Electrolux based on the reviews. I like the overall design and features and I feel like it gets our clothes cleaner.

If you are scent sensitive or trying to avoid volatile organic compounds (VOCs) do not buy this washer. The company has baked a perfume into the gaskets and it doesn’t come out. Every time I do laundry it makes me gag. The smell is sickly/sweet, like the perfume in cheap cat litter. I am furious that it isn’t disclosed somewhere. My old Electrolux didn’t smell like this. I don’t know why they would do this other than to try and cover up some other more toxic chemical smell they put into the rubber to make it mildew resistant. Beware!

The washing machine that was brand new with our home recently died after 10 years. We had been waiting for that day so we could get new appliances and re-do our laundry room. This model has beaten my expectations. I've never had a front-load washer before, and this has been great, as it allowed us to place a countertop over it. This machine is QUIET! It's amazing...I am such a light sleeper, and I can throw a load in the wash for the morning, and not hear a thing. I also am a huge fan of the activewear option for all of my workout clothes. Definitely should have purchases this sooner!

It works fine but bigger loads, which it advertised it could handle, would shake and make a loud shaking noise.

This washer has everything. I have asthma and its allergen and sanitize features are amazing. It even has a clean washer cycle. What I like the most is the huge drum. It fits my king size bedspread with room to spare. Our clothes are cleaner and smell better. Both this washer and its matching dryer are a must. I don't regret buying them. Doing laundry is so much easier.

We struggled finding a new washer/dryer set that fits where our old set was. The Electrolux was the only company that made them slightly smaller and they fit perfectly. Better yet, we are impressed with the options that cover all laundry needs that we have. I recommend highly.
