5 Great front loading machine

I recently had a different brand front loading washer that was very noisy and went out of balance a lot. Only lasted 5 years. I have much more confidence in my new Electrolux. It has performed perfectly for the 6 months I have had it.

5 Washer

Love the new washer. The only issue I have is when you do whites small sox get stuck in the rubber at the door and you have to wring them out well before you put them in the dryer.

5 Washer and dryer

I like how well they work and I really like the lint basket how it’s enclosed and captures all the lint instead of letting some escape out the vent and clog the pipe.

I've only used this washer for a couple of weeks, so my opinion may change after a while. Right now, I only have two issues. First, the washer is too low - a few inches lower than my previous washer. I either have to use grabbers (which don't always work well with heavy wet towels) or sit on the floor. I'm still debating to see if it's too late to add a pedestal to raise it up. Second, I haven't found a way to add an extra rinse cycle to the wash cycle. The users' manual mentions it, but so far it escapes me. I plan to return to the store and ask these questions. The wash cycles are shorter by several minutes from my old washer. It remains to be seen if that will affect how well items are laundered. It also seems a bit noisy. All that said, the washer is easy to use and I've not had any major complaints.
