Light inside is great, powerful, and the outside buttons are sensitive so you don’t have to push down to activate

I bought this product a year and a half ago, we liked it a lot except the door is to big we have to step back to open it. After a few months the door hinges became loose (somehow with the size of the door I epected that) and yesterday the door fell off and broke. I have to buy another microwave (or try to find a replacing door) to bad considering the last microwave we owned lasted about 15 years.

I really like the fact that i can now enter an exact amount of time to heat stuff. Like re-heating a cup of coffee to the exact drinking temp = 1.45 min.

I bought this microwave because my GE Advantium finally bit the dust after 20 yrs. I love the look of the unit and it fit perfectly I also have a Frigidare convertible fridge/freezer that I use as an all fridge and love it. I literally just taped off the venting tonight - haven't even used it yet! However, now I find out that it needs a bump out kit because my cupboard depth is 14" rather than 13". And even though it is vented outside through the top, there is a small vent at the top right hand side that apparently needs clearance that only 13" deep cupboards can give. A bump out kit is $100 and it will make the unit stick out another 3". My cupboards on either side are 13" deep including doors and if I used a bump out I would be hitting my head on this thing daily. Maybe it should specify this as a "pop up" when someone is purchasing. I would have to uninstall the unit - put more holes in my wall as well as redo all of the ventilation holes and bolt holes in the upper cabinet. I would literally rather cut 1" cut out of my cabinet bottom which would be hidden by the doors than redo all of this work. I don't think it's going to make a difference or start a fire as I can feel the airflow coming out between the cupboard bottom and the microwave where the front vent is.

I bought my new microwave and I love it. It’s a perfect match to my stove I bought earlier. They look so sharp together. This microwave is very quiet to operate. The features are nice. I love the no handle design as it’s very sleek and easy to keep clean. Bright light inside too is a nice feature.
