I've been wanting a ceramic top stove for quite some time, and I finally took the plunge and bought myself one. I'm a little paranoid about scratching / cracking the top, but it's great to not have to worry about a huge mess to clean up when I have boil overs. No more removing burners and having to clean out the burner liner and the inside of the stove top. I find that the elements don't seem to heat up quite as quickly as coil elements, but that's just a small trade-off. Both the elements and the oven can make funky noises when they're on. I really like the indicator light that shows me when the stove top is still warm after I have used a burner. If I had young grandchildren, I might be a little bit concerned about having the control knobs on the front of the stove, but that's another trade-off for not having to reach across steaming pots to reach the controls. I've only used the oven a couple of times so far, but it works great.

I bought this stove a couple weeks and it works really well. Goes well with the washer and dryer we recently had purchased.

Had to replace a different manufacturers electric range that blew a circuit board._x000D_ We wanted the glass top and warming ring, which this had.
