2 Clearance dents

I bought this fridge as a clearance item. It was a mistake because it has several dents you couldn’t see in the store, I let it climatized after delivery but it froze my celery on the fridge side, and I didn’t want the water system.

4 Slight flaw

The air filter indicator on the lit panel on the fridge is not working so we now have to have another fridge delivered to swap out.

5 Great fridge/freezer!

We use this fridge in our basement as a second fridge/freezer. So far it’s been working great and I love the look of it!

3 Ice Maker is not user friendly

To turn ON / OFF the ice maker requires that you physically remove the ice maker unit to access the switch.

4 Off to a better start than my other frigidaire

This was literally the only fridge on the market that had the features we wanted and would fit in our space. I had no desire to by a Frigidaire as our new upright freezer is the biggest piece of crap I've ever owned. _x000D_ _x000D_ So far, I'm pleased with this one.

3 Misaligned doors...not enough to return it.

Disappointed I guess is the best word._x000D_ _x000D_ It works fine. But the doors are misaligned and at different heights. The lower hinges have height adjusters on them but the freezer side requires a mystery sized box wrench. It isn't 15 or 14 mm nor is it 7/16th. The fridge door adjuster works fine but is at it's lowest setting leaving the fridge door about 3 mm higher than the freezer door. The water supply tube runs up the center of the freezer adjuster, thus is a different mechanism than the fridge door. It simply will not turn to raise the door. The floor is level and the sides of the fridge are perpendicular as well as the top being level._x000D_ _x000D_ But more frustrating is that the doors are not parallel to each other. The gap between the doors is 3 mm at the top and 14 mm at the bottom. It is very noticeable. In fact, if you look at the photo you have used on this webpage, you can even see it slightly on the photo used here._x000D_ _x000D_ It appears to me that both lower hinges are not 90 degrees to the front frame. I'm tempted to tap them with a hammer to get alignment or possibly put a shim on the outside of the hinge to align it inward._x000D_ _x000D_ I explained things to the nice lady at Home Depot, saying that I really don't think it's serious enough to return it. We walked down the row of side by side refrigerators and all the Frigidaires and even some high end Samsung and Whirlpool models had different height doors that the lady said the technician could not align. She gave me a card of a local appliance guy should I not be able to fix it._x000D_ _x000D_ I love to McGiver things. But when it comes to a new product pushing $2000, why should I have to?_x000D_ _x000D_ Sure. I realize this is definitely a 1st world problem. It doesn't bother my wife (a good thing). Quite honestly, I'm ashamed that it bugs me at all. I'm not like that. I generally just fix things._x000D_ _x000D_ I'm not returning it. I'm not calling the appliance guy. I'll live with it till the new fridge shine and warranty is off. Then I'll bend the bottom or shim the bottom hinges to get alignment._x000D_ _x000D_ Other than that it works fine. Keeps things cold and frozen. But isn't that what a new fridge should do? We retired a 24 year old Whirlpool that was still working. It was a far better machine than this, even in it's last days...lights shining that shine inward and not in your face, quieter water and ice maker, quieter compressor... We never touched it till it started to freeze the water supply recently. Due to it's age, we opted for a new fridge. _x000D_ _x000D_ I miss the old one. I never thought I'd have feelings for a home appliance. :-(
