I bought this 5 days ago and have used it maybe 3 times and already the dryer is not working properly. It runs a few minutes and shuts off telling me to clean the lint filter which is already clean.

I’ve been using this machine only because it is what is provided in my condo unit. It is absolutely horrible and I wish I could use a different machine. Every wash cycle my clothes come out COVERED in a grey lint. I’ve been trying to call Frigidaire for months to ask what to do about this, as I even had a technician come here and say they have no idea how to solve this problem. My clothes are dirtier coming out of this than they go in. I’m having a baby and I will have to go do my baby’s laundry at my parents house because this machine is so bad and I can’t have the baby’s clothes covered in this gross lint. Do not purchase this. The headache it causes is not worth it and my poor landlord has been trying to get this fixed but no one at Frigidaire gets back to us.

This unit was programmed and designed by monkeys. It is unable to do towels, bedsheets, too much or too little laundry. It will NEVER drain, it doesn't even TRY, it merely flashes and bleeps "unbalanced". Once it has decided that it's "unbalanced" changing the clothes orientation, taking out or even adding clothes, does NOTHING. It's made up its mind that it's "unbalanced" and it's never going to try to actually spin down ever again. Furthermore it will spend its sweet time - up to, get this, 6 minutes! - to allow you to open the door. I've looked at all the comments on this forum and no, setting it to "bulky" does not help in the least bit. Never have I seen in my entire life a more useless, poorly designed appliance. Globalization fail. Fire the CEO. Fire the design team. Was there even an engineer? Did they have an actual degree? There is NO possible way this thing was even remotely tested or gone through even minimal quality control before being vomited onto the market.

Large washer drum size but can't handle a large load! Misrepresented. Washer fills but won't spin - all lights flash with red light at the top - no trouble shooting FAQ, solution is to remove items then rinse and spin (also have to reset power breaker to stop cycle - cancel doesn't cancel). Can't just remove some clothes and resume- doesn't work._x000D_ No Spin Only cycle, have to restart using rinse/spin cycle. This wastes water which is a problem when you are on a well and septic system. _x000D_ No Fabric Rinse Dispenser - stupid _x000D_ Have to dissolve laundry detergent in water prior to adding clothes or any undissolved/ undiluted laundry detergent marks clothes.

Purchased this unit in August 2021, should have known it was going to have problems when the warehouse person bent the adjustable leg from sliding it on a rough surface. It began leaking right away and we thought it was a loose hose only later to realize it was still leaking and had damaged our floor. During this time there were the odd times when it didn't finish a cycle but it was just reset and eventually did. We didn't think much of that as we were more concerned with the water. Finally, went to retailer(City Furniture Kamloops) and they had a service tech come which determined it was a poor design of the water filling system and there was not fix for it so it was suggested to turn down water pressure which really messed it up and it stopped working through the cycles. So now we have had to contact the service center again and have found out that the main control board and user interface board may be the problem. Another two weeks to wait. Don't waste your time on this product. No help from retailer and no help from manufacturer. Nobody is willing to accept that this machine is a lemon. Would DEFINITELY not recommend.

_x000D_ _x000D_ 5. _x000D_ _x000D_ 6. Amen. _x000D_ _x000D_ 4 ans et demi de durée de vie c’est cher payé…

This laundry center is total garbage. It can barely handle anything over a medium load of regular clothes and don’t even think about trying to wash your towels or bed sheets without making sure you have the patience to deal with the “unbalanced load” for an hour. Also the self locking safety feature stays on for 5 minutes? _x000D_ _x000D_ Drier also sucks. Lint literally flys everywhere when you open the door, clothes are covered in it after. _x000D_ _x000D_ I don’t understand how something so bad is even in production and on the market. If I had my time back I would literally do anything to buy a different combo, I’d reconstruct the room in order to fit non stackable / bigger center. Total waste of money and time. Once we finally cave and buy another unit I will use this one for target practice which is basically it’s only use.

I bought this over a year ago to replace my Frigidaire stacked unit that lasted nearly twenty years. I decided to buy the updated model since I had a good experience with a previous model. I cannot say the updated digital model is an improvement especially when it comes to the washer. The main problem with the washer is how long the cycles take to complete. The so called Quick Wash cycle takes nearly 45 minutes from fill to finish. The spinning portions of the cycles are just way too long so I only use Quick Wash. I also do not like that you can't open the lid when it's filling like you could with the older non digital model. Why does it take six minutes for the lid to unlock when paused? After some time I learned a workaround on how to deal with balance problem when the load is in fact balanced: don't try to rearrange the load when the washer has stopped and the balance light goes on. The washer will eventually start up again and wring out the water and after a few times of stopping and starting on it's own it will continue on without you having to rearrange the load. I also don't like that you have no idea how much longer the cycle is going to take unless you know how long the cycle takes and make note of the time it started which will give you an idea of how much longer it will take. With the older non digital models you could tell where the machine was at in the cycle as the dial moved through. It would have been nice if the manual listed how long each cycle should take so you wouldn't have to time them yourself. It would also have been nice if the washer had more temperature settings besides hot, warm and cold. The comparable GE model has five temperature settings. Same goes for the dryer; more temperature settings would have been nice. The lint filter should have some type of cover or be place somewhere other than the lower frame of the dryer door where the clothes come into contact with it when removing them. Such an obvious design flaw. The engineers who are responsible for the update need to go back to the drawing board with the washer.
