1 Terrible

we bought a brand new suite in 2018. we started having problems with our dishwasher last year (2021) and was told because of covid no one would come out. now we just had a servicer come out and the part + labor + what we paid the samsung rep to come out ($100) to diagnose the problem would end up costing more than the machine! if samsung came out when the problem started the warranty would have still be in place, very disapointed in samsung and their product that didn't last long

1 Repair cost exceeded purchase price

purchased 2018. warranty expired by dec 2021. called samsung for repair. repair (by designated samsung service person) cost more than initial cost of unit, but bc it was around the holidays and family was visiting we needed a working dishwasher, couldn't afford the wait. sucks. would not repurchase if given the choice.

1 Lousy appliance

We've had this " dishwasher" for a while It looks good but has never lived up to the name. Our first wash resulted in most of the plates and cutlery needing hand washing afterwards. We then re-stacked the second wash according to the manual, thinking that was the problem, but it didn't make much difference -- hand washing again. We used the recommended detergent ( Cascade) on all occasions. After a few washes things didn't improve so we went to Home Depot, where we bought the appliance where we were basically given the brush off. We called Samsung Canada, who arranged for a technician to come over. He did his thing, pressure testing etc. and said that he could find no fault with the machine. We are now basically hand washing the plates, etc before putting them in them machine. We wouldn't recommend anyone buying this model. .

2 It has bad odour

I brought this little over year ago. 1) The express function does not clean dishes properly. 2) If you do not use the washing machine daily it start smelling. very bad odour. 3) Each time you use the machine you have to clean it. It is more work to clean the washing machine each time.

1 Just bought on Sale at Best Buy ! Doesn’t clean

Bought this appliance last week, we were so happy to get an upgraded unit from our previous dishwasher but unfortunately Washing is so poor, have to rewash my dishes and have to leave dishes all night to let them dry. We trusted its brand value , opted for it features, but really not happy with the product .

3 Average Quality

I bought this as a replacement for my last Samsung Dishwasher that was deemed not reparable by the extended warranty company after only 3 years. Does not have a removable filter to clean and does not clean the dishes very well. Very dissappointed in this model. My last model had a 3rd rack and was better quality but only lasted 3 years with error code LC. The door does not stay open when you are loading it. You have to hold it with your leg. Will definitely reconsider my purchase the next time we have to replace this one.

1 Doesn’t Clean

Machine leaves dishes and glasses dirtier than they went in. I called Samsung support they read through their script offering suggestions, which we had already tried. They suggested always running a Heavy cycle. I questioned that as I’m only cleaning plates, cutlery, and glassware, why would I use heavy. They said it is less efficient but might make the dishes cleaner. Seems to me to defeat the purpose of an energy efficient unit. Not very well designed if that’s how it should always be ran. We have run the machine on different cycles, tried different detergents, used the plate/glass layout suggested by the manual, tried other layouts, under filled the plates/glasses, but still things come out dirty. Samsung sent a technician to check the dishwasher, they found nothing wrong so they did a cleaning cycle and gave us a few tips on how to run the machine better (run hot tap water before turning it on/ don’t use the dish detergent trap, instead place the pod in the cutlery holder) We used all the tips and yet the second time we ran it the dishes came out dirty. I strongly suggest not purchasing this unit.

1 Do you like doing dishes by hand? this is for you!

This machine performance is very, very poor. I wash everything with storm-wash-high-heat wash and I still have to check all each piece because alt least two or three items need to go back to the sink. Super disappointed, I will never fall for a Samsung again.
