Just received my new washer yesterday (12/29/2023) purchased from Home Depot. Replacing a 28 year old Whirlpool. Hope this new Electrolux lasts almost as long. Have done 2 loads of laundry. First load produced a little leaking, however, I think this was either due to air in the water lines (some popping sound when filling) or door reversal issues. Second load had no issues, although I did remount the door (see important note below). I'm looking forward to trying all the new features this new washer has. I have never owned a front loader. It is definitely quieter than my old machine. So far, so good. IMPORTANT DOOR REVERSAL: The doors use self tapping screws (cheap ones!) that will strip. Take care when reversing to the opposite side. It will take SOME EFFORT to tap into the pre-drilled mounting holes. My best advice is to remove one screw and tap all the mounting holes BEFORE you attempt to swap the door. Take your time screwing in and backing out repeatedly until the hole is properly tapped. I used a little anti seize in this process. If you don't seat the mounting brackets properly the door latch will not match up perfectly and you will have leaking issues with your washer.

We have only washed 5 loads and f wash and so far pretty impressed. If I put the spin cycle to max the clothes feel almost dry.

10 months ago, we bought this washer dryer combo after MUCH research and endless reading of reviews on many different websites. the final clincher for me was a (fortunate) phone call i happened to have with a home depot employee who worked with large appliances and processing their returns. she let on that electrolux had far and away fewer returns than any other brand, and especially compared to samsung. we were really on the fence because of the hefty price tag, but, in the long run, looked at it as an investment into our family. _x000D_ _x000D_ we use the machines nearly every day, and oh, my GOSH are we impressed with this set. our clothes have never come out so clean - and i mean NEVER. i've had samsung, LG, and whirlpool sets in the past, and also dealt with the dreaded shared apartment laundry room speed queens. all of them have been garbage compared to this machine. _x000D_ _x000D_ i am quite pleased with all of the different settings, but, being a performer, my personal favourite is the "hand wash" setting. i can put even my most delicate pieces in to be washed and they come out fresh and just as beautiful as when i purchased them._x000D_ _x000D_ the other setting that has absolutely saved our lives (and the life of one of our cats in particular), is the stain soak cycle. one of our girls has a propensity to urinate outside of the box, and the stain soak cycle COMPLETELY REMOVES the stain and odor of urine. i use the sanitize temp when i think the fabric can handle it, but, i was pleasantly surprised to find when i gave the stain soak cycle on a cool setting (with extra detergent & distilled white vinegar in every compartment) a try, it worked fantastically for more delicate items that otherwise would have had to have been thrown out. i'm talkin the smell is TOTALLY gone._x000D_ _x000D_ this washing machine is worth every penny we paid. thankful we took a chance on it, and could not recommend it more!

I knew Electrolux was known for their quality but didn’t realize they offered washers and dryers too. We decided to go with them because of Electrolux’s excellent reputation. We haven’t been disappointed and absolutely love their performance so far. Excellent quality and lots of extras that make me smile every time I do the laundry. Love it!

This is part of a pair that replaced an older Electrolux pair. It fit well into a semi built-in laundry closet space. We liked the features and efficiency of this model. The door also has an improvement...there is a "pop-out" latch with a magnet that assists in keeping the door ajar for gasket drying purposes, and the door will stay open to any degree if you choose not to use this feature. Our old one would swing open too far and be in the way. Anyone with a front loading washer knows that you need to dry the door/gasket area to prevent mildew, etc., and this allows us to air dry it as well as a wipe down.

A little noisy, but cleans well. A king size comforter only needs to spin once, unlike my last washer.

So far I love these machines. I am a long time owner of nothing but Whirlpool appliances but when our washer and dryer needed to be replaced last year the reviews for the new Whirlpool washer & dryers were not good. So I started to search for replacement appliances and that’s how I found Electrolux. The reviews were awesome. I usually listen to the consumer because they tell you the truth.
