We replaced our 30 year old washing machine with our first front loader. The washing machine uses so much less water. I've been enjoying exploring the different options and settings - makes laundry day a bit more interesting :). We had some issues with some excess rubber on the gasket, which caused water to leak from the door - thankfully we were able to get a warranty tech out to take a look relatively quickly. LIke all front loaders, requires a bit of cleaning maintenance between washes.

My last washer was purchased in 1999, so I was worried I would not figure out or need all the buttons on this fancy, modern machine, but the instructions and controls are smooth and user-friendly. I have already washed dog rugs, comforters and delicate sweaters, along with normal laundry - everything comes out amazingly clean and in good shape. It uses about 30-40% less water than my last machine (depending upon settings), along with less laundry soap. It spins the clothes so well, the dryer has to run less. It runs smoothly and quiet, nice if your machine sits in a main living area. I immediately had to reverse the door opening - the directions looked like many steps, but were clear and easy to follow (make sure you can open the door fully BOTH ways before starting!). I do pull out the soap dispenser (nice, easy release) and leave the door open between wash days to prevent any mold/ mildew buildup.

Machines work beautifully. The washer really makes the clothes clean. The dryer is powerful and quite which makes it perfect for late night loads.

I spent months looking for the best washer and dryer on the market and with hesitation because of cost chose these. The first time we ran it it leaked, my husband looked like he could kill me, lol! We called and some one came out to repair it, he expressed 22yrs in repair and had only done a handful of Electrolux machines. All it ended up being was a hose that was a hair too short. Now that it is fixed it works amazing. Everything is clean and smells great, I love the different options for soaps and cycles! 4stars only because we have not had them long enough to do 5stars

I never write Reviews, but this washer deserves it. This washer and Dryer is the best clean i have seen. Towels are fluffier and smell fresher than I have seen in years. I have used Bosch and Maytag front load washers and ELECTROLUX hit a home run on this washer! It washes Fast and Cleaner than any washer I have used. It spins out all moisture from towels.
