This freezer replaced a 15 year old freezer that was noisy but working. This freezer took very little time to get the temperature down to the set point and is QUIET! I also like the green light on the bottom of the door that lets you know its operating and the alarm that lets you know that you didn't close the door properly.

This unit was purchased to replace a 40-year-old Montgomery Wards (yea - who remembers Wards?) non-frost free freezer._x000D_ _x000D_ Thus far, I set the temp just a little bit beyond the 'recommended' setting and the freezer seems to be holding -8 to -10 degrees Fahrenheit based on a freezer thermometer. with a full load._x000D_ _x000D_ Love the door light.

I was looking for a freezer that had lots of good reviews. This one was rated very high with people who bought it. However, it seemed to be "out of stock" everywhere I looked. I did get lucky and bought the last one Lowes had in their warehouse. I've had it for just over a month now and it runs perfect. It has plenty of room for my frozen goods. I realize I haven't had it very long to give this review but if it holds up as it is running now, it is a very good buy.

I have been using a 3.8 c.f. Freezer for years; I should have purchased this one a lot Rajasthan I did. I no longer need to take half the food out, to see what I have. Love it._x000D_ The only thing that I would like to see is an additional shelf, or to make an additional shelf available for purchase
