Our very old garage freezer finally gave out...during a pandemic. I never expected to have so much difficulty finding a new one. I left my name at a local appliance store, and they called when this model arrived. It is smaller than the one we had (16 cu ft vs 20 cu ft). However, all the kids are out of the house now, and we do not need as large a freezer. This one is a basic model, no frills, but it does the job well. It cooled off quickly, and we were comfortable putting our frozen items in the same day that it was installed. I like the green light that shines at the bottom, onto the floor, to let us know that the machine is running. I was surprised that the shelves in the door hold almost as much as the ones in my old freezer. I also like the door notch (handle) on the side. Because ours is in the garage, it is nice not to have a handle sticking out. The notch on the side is ergonomically pleasing and easy to use. All in all, we are happy with our purchase!

I love love love this freezer. It is roomy and works great. It doesn't take a lot of space and it was garage ready. I love the blue light at the bottom of the freezer that shines on the floor. Now I don't have to turn on the light I_x000D_ n the garage to get something out the freezer in the dark.

We replaced our 20-year old (still-running) Frigidaire upright freezer to avoid any unexpected failures. Since our old Frigidaire gave us good service, Frigidaire was our unquestionable choice for a replacement._x000D_ The new freezer had been operating less than two weeks when the top shelves defrosted and the bottom shelves solidly froze. We had just filled the new one with lots of frozen items (during this pandemic we only go shopping every few weeks). We are now waiting for replacement parts (Fan and Main Board). We have lost confidence in the reliability of the Frigidaire Brand. If the repaired freezer give us problems again, we will definitely not choose Frigidaire next time.

Bought new freezer because of multiple break-downs of 20+ year old freezer. Due to Covid the availability of up-right freezers has been almost nil. Local stores such as Lowes and Home Depot have none in stock. Though somewhat smaller than our previous freezer (20 Cu Ft), this one fills the bill nicely. Nice safety features.

I am satisfied with this freezer purchase. I've been looking to get a freezer for months and this one was reasonable priced and has a lot of space. The lighting inside is also very helpful.

This freezer is just the right size for our garage setup._x000D_ Plenty of space for extra meat and vegetables._x000D_ It compliments he Frigidaire refrigerator right next to it.

I purchased this freezer with the understanding the door could be reversed to open in the opposite direction. I followed the owners manual step by step but the holes do not line up with the hinge plate. Thinking I did something incorrectly I had a appliance repair company come out to fix. His comment was these holes don't line up properly and therefore we need to move the door back to the original side. Will be contacting for possible resolution.

This is my second Frigidaire freezer. The one I am still using a 2005 model. Still working great just needed a bigger one
