My wife an I wanted a freezer that is very low maintenance and doesn't need to be defrosted. So far this freezer fits the bill.

We have had this freezer only a little more than two weeks, but are already very pleased with our purchase. The shelves in the door are a real plus and the other shelves are not so deep that items get buried. It also has a very good power usage efficiency rating.

We bought this because our chest freezer just wasn’t big enough for our family of 5. It has lots of room and the shelves allow for organization. It’s very easy to look quickly and pull something out for dinner.

We like the exterior light showing that power is on and freezer is operational (green LED that shines onto the floor) and the bright interior light. Also like the taller profile that uses up less floor space than our previous freezer. Reversible door feature is nice although we didn’t need to utilize the capability.

The freezer was delivered and installed almost 3 weeks ago. It is in conditioned space in my finished basement. Within four to five days, there was a bit of ice buildup on two of the door bins and some on the opposite shelving, as well as a little on the back interior wall. I supposed this was due to filling it over the course of the days and having the door open more than normal. Since then, I open it every 3-4 days. The ice is increasing. I am not happy about this. I specifically purchased a freezer that would _x000D_ automatically defrost.
