I bought this in Sept. 2019. Not even a year old. Does not clean dishes properly, I have to wash everything by hand when I am emptying it. Does not dry plastics as it claims. Leaves dirty grey water in the filter system.

I purchased this dishwasher 6 months ago. It does not clean dishes very well. My dishes have to be rinsed clean prior to loading otherwise food remains and dishes have to be soaked and reloaded. The drain gets plugged very easily despite keeping the filter clean. Constantly giving leakage error codes when it is not leaking. I have a number of Samsung appliances and this one does not live up to my expectations.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

After struggling with an older dishwasher for some years we decided to get something nicer that cleans well for our six person household. This dishwasher looks great, and runs super silent but the cleaning has been absolutely terrible and even worse than our previous one. We have tried 1. pre-rinsing 2. run on the heavy cycle 3. higher heat and 4. giving more space between plates and dishes. Glasses clean well but the plates and bowls are just not clean and we usually have five or six things we have to hand wash. The photo below is from today where I ran the load on a heavy cycle for 3 hours, spaced the dishes and made sure nothing too crusted was added. There were four other plates and bowls that visually looked fine but were not clean and were hand washed..

This dishwasher came with the home we purchased and it has had issues from the very beginning. We keep getting the 5C error code. I am a journeyman plumber and have checked the drain hose to make sure there are no kinks or blockages. I run sink full of water through the drain and clean the strainer. Then it seems to work again for a few weeks. I will be replacing this dishwasher in the near future. I don’t recommend buying this dishwasher.

I’ve had this dishwasher since March 2020. Dishes do not get cleaned thoroughly. I need to hand wash everything prior to placing it in the machine if not, you can see visible residue and particles. Repair company told me salespeople get bigger commissions for Samsung and LG products and push them more. I’m stuck with this poor performing machine now for years. It doesn’t matter which cycle you run. It may be quiet but it certainly does not clean the dishes which is the point of the unit. Save yourself the trouble, disappointment and grief.

As soon as I bought this, there was loud noise during draining. Then high pitch noise during water intaking. I requested for warranty service but Samsung just closed my request not leaving a word.

I find many of that bad reviews here comical. 2 stars cause uses too much rinse aid. Wont connect to WiFi, I’m sure that’s not user related lol I haven’t had mine long but so far, it’s quiet, looks good and no problems with the cleaning, rinse aid or WiFi. Amazing how it doesn’t clean at all for a few, how can that be?! Only thing I would note, for the price, it should come with the accessories. Water supply house or at least the 90 Elbow adapter, come on Samsung.

I am really surprised to see the negative reviews on this dishwasher. I have had mine for 2.5 years now and it is the best cleaning one I have ever had I never have to rinse and it gets everything clean in one cycle, it is super quite and love the third rack for cutlery and utensils. The only time I have ever had issues with the cleaning is when a very small bone particle made it through the grinder and ended plugging the drain pipe where it connects under the kitchen sink and thus dirty water was draining back into dishwasher and I was getting an error code. It was a very easy fix to clear and no problems since then. Love this dishwasher
