washer was installed professionally by Loews on 12 /13/23, with the very first wash there was a rubber material, that I thought may be packing material. however it worsened, and when I called Lowes they said they don't cover it after 48 hours. the referred me to Electrolux, by then the machine was leaking water on the floor, within 1 week of purchase. (it turns out the rubber seal (boot ) on the door was rubbing against the pan when it turns and was tearing it. . I called Electrolux, they refused to replace my brand new washer, sent me to a service company , who came found the defect and the technician Told me they replace it unless they fail to fix it, even though he could not explain why a brand new machine was doing this (obviously a manufacturer defect ). he order the boot which took 2 weeks, all that tome it is leaking on my floor. when it arrived he required the help of my wife to install the boot , but could not finish the job because he stretched the spring that holds it in place. now my brand new washer is dead and waiting for apart that he promised, would be there in 2 days , it is supposed to arrive Friday (10 days ) later . I called Electrolux their service company and the only answer I get is we have to wait for the technician , same guy who told me "it is crappy machine ". this is not what I expected when I bought the editor choice for 2023. the company definitely does not stand by its products. terrible customer service

The new washer is similar but a little different than the older Electrolux model we had._x000D_ With this one, the dispensers are much more clearly marked and updated for Pods._x000D_ The washer door just pulls out unlike the old one that you had to toggle in then out._x000D_ This model seems even quieter than the old one as well._x000D_ The controls are more clearly marked as well.

The washer is amazing it cleans clothes efficiently and keeps whites bright white and avoids colors from fading.

So far, this washer is great. Easy to install. The setting one-sheet makes all of the settings clear and easy to use. The presets have been doing a great job getting our clothes clean and getting stains out. The rubber gasket around the door has also been pretty easy to keep clean and dry just by wiping it out after each wash.

Our new Electrolux washing machine works much better than our just replaced GE Profile washer. It seems to be less prone to mold because of the magnetic door hold, which is really nice because the door is not always flopping into the way while using the mud room. The controls are very user friendly and have a good range of settings. The plastic detergent door front seems flimsy as does the magnetic door hold, so we’ll have to see how those hold up. On our GE two small tabs broke off on the detergent drawer front and we had to Jerry-Rig the thing back together with a couple of screws. Not good, but it was actually stronger than stock. Overall the Electrolux washer is working great and if you have the resources, we can recommend this machine.

My dryer died so when I bought a new Electrolux dryer, I got the matching washer since I thought it likely I would need to replace the washing machine soon. Loving it! Quiet, lots of settings, special slot for soap pods, looks great and very quiet.
