I loved my first Electrolux, but after 6 years, it was really noisy, knocking, and seemed off balance with every load. I called a service person and it was suggested I replace it before it broke on me...I have LOVED the Electroux...so got a replacement that looks identical, fits on the same riser, and matches the dryer. This time, however, I will NOT use the MAX spin cycle on a regular basis. I have always wiped down the rubber around the door as well as the door, and kept the door open when not in use and had no issue with mold or mildew. My recommendation is to use less than the MAX spin cycle and I hope I get a longer life span with it.

I have owned two Electrolux washer models: the Wavetouch and Perfect Steam™ Washer with LuxCare® Plus Wash and SmartBoost®. The wash performance is very good to excellent, yet these machines are far different from each other. The paddles are much smaller in the perfect steam, and the angle of the basket is a few degrees lower towards the front, making the load balancing easier for spinning. The drain pump is much quieter than the Wavetouch, which is a plus. This washer is energy-efficient. The wash cycles are not as flexible as the Wavetouch. There is no interior light button to see if enough detergent is used and no prewash to add to all cycles, excluding the quick wash cycle. These two things are a step back for me. This machine is new to me so I have to learn what it can really do. If anybody needs a good extra large-capacity washer, I still would recommend this washer.

Love my washer. It is best washer I have had in a long time (and I have had to replace my washer every 3 years because they fall apart). I love the features and it even sounds like it’s a better made machine!

Great so far! Enjoying all of the features and options especially the Extended Refresh. A little louder wash cycle than I had hoped for but so far that’s my only complaint.

Definitely a top-end clothes washer without the top-end price. Clothes come out cleaner than our previous washer (towels included) which was only 1 year old. But after too many issues with the old washer, we decided to purchase a different brand. We chose Electrolux and am very pleased we did._x000D_ The washer is solidly built and just works right, the way you'd expect. We haven't tried many options yet but just a standard wash load seems to be cleaner and fresher once the cycle is finished._x000D_ Because the washer works so well, we replaced the old dryer (also a year old) with the matching Electrolux dryer! We have that much confidence in their performance and reliability._x000D_ A definite recommend for anyone searching for a new washer and/or dryer.
