We bought this machine as a replacement for the old one (another brand) which broke down after years of use. We read various reviews, and we really liked the thoughtful new features of this model, like Smartboost, Stainsoak, Perfect Steam, Pure Rinse and Optic Whites for a cleaner wash without the need for harsh chemicals that damage the fabrics of our clothes. We have washed a few loads with this new machine, and we are really happy how the laundry is done without loud vibrations and noise! The larger drum capacity also means we can wash our king-size duvet with space to spare! We also like the 15-minute Fast Wash cycle for small loads, and the Delay Start and Extended Refresh features so that we can schedule our laundry around our other tasks, and not let doing the laundry tie us down! Sleek control panel and buttons also make selection of appropriate washing cycles and options a breeze!

I had an LG washer before. I don’t miss a single thing about that washer! I am so so happy with Electrolux machine I can’t wait for my lg dryer to die so I can buy the matching machine! My laundry is fresh and actually clean. I didn’t realize how much my LG machine sucked until I got this. So happy!!

I never write reviews but felt compelled to do so now. _x000D_ Here's my opinion/experience; the product/brand Electrolux … HORRIBLE. _x000D_ It's not the fact that the washing machine broke… Thirteen hundred dollars ‘should’ buy me a machine that lasts longer than 8 months yes …but it’s 2023 and everything breaks these days… the problem is the support/warranty service. Electrolux hasn’t ‘refused’ they just aren’t showing up. What’s a warranty worth if the manufacturer fails to come to repair it? I basicly have a big metal box taking up space beside my dryer. _x000D_ I've owned my Electrolux Washer for 8 months and had a flood streaming from the door damaging my (6 month old) flooring and at the time of writing this review, I am 16 days without wash. I have no interest in converting my laundry room into a swimming pool but hey, maybe that’s a new line for Electrolux, just slap a piece of duct tape to cover the word washing machine on that big metal box beside the dryer and it could turn any laundry room into an indoor swimming pool._x000D_ More than 2 wks waiting for a service technician (so far), 5 hours (over several calls) on the phone navigating the Electrolux voice mail prompts and getting frustrated with the robotic answers of customer service through a series of phone calls to them. Ummm...on describing a flood streaming from the front door, the initial questions from intake that are mandatory include 'does it fill with HOT water?'...what does this have to do with a flood coming out of the door? Robots. Yes, doing their job but robotic questions/answers that must simply follow a script. This explains why I was offered a technician 2 hours away and not the common sense solution of our local 10 min away technician. The service technician has cancelled (“rescheduled”) twice, still unknown if he will actually bother showing up on day 18, I've lost trust that he will come on his THIRD scheduled service date. _x000D_ I was surprised. I would have thought better, it’s disappointing to experience that this is the quality of the electrolux warranty. Benefit of the doubt - maybe the corporate suits aren’t aware of what’s happening...but try googling to find anyone in Canada including the legal dept to call them to discuss. Electrolux executives are impossible to find and the number listed goes overseas. Soooo ummm…do the Canadian ‘suits’ KNOW of the problems? Maybe they DO. Are they just hiding from their customers? _x000D_ Electrolux hasn’t ‘refused’ service, they’re just not showing up. _x000D_ So, if you are considering buying an Electrolux – as the owner of an Electrolux washer, I recommend that you first ask yourself these questions; Do you have a laundromat closeby? Are you prepared to go 2 wks (and counting) without laundry? Are you prepared to rewear a smelly tshirt when you run out? Do you work in health care like someone in my home? Do you wear scrubs to work? Do you own more than 14 sets of scrubs? How about after that 12 hr shift…you CAN’T rewear your scrubs so - are you prepared to driving an hour to get to the laundromat to wash/sanitize your dirty scrubs washed and sanitized, then wait for it to wash/dry? Do you have gas money that you want to spend to get to that laundromat so far away? Can you cope with the dreaded corporate ‘customer service’? Hours of it? How about clearing your availability to be home the day when the technician ‘says’ he is coming, then he cancels and reschedules… so... you clear another day to be home, then he cancels and reschedules again. Maybe your employer doesn't mind your absences or you’re ok to use up vacation days for nothing. _x000D_ Or…if all of the above is not ok BUT you happen to find yourself in the market for a big metal box with built in storage to take up space beside your dryer…Electrolux CAN fill this need…it took 8 months but MY Electrolux has now graduated into this. _x000D_ I would absolutely NOT recommend Electrolux, doesn't deserve the one star but zero stars is not an option.

So far so good. Had this for approximately two months now. This is our second front load washer. Our first one was horrible would eat clothes literally! I don’t know how many good shirts and other items we had to repair due to damage from the machine. Have learned the trick of putting the smaller items towards the back or in a washing bag but this one still didn’t even seem lodge anything in the front and no damaged clothes as of yet thank goodness. Best not be either. Lol. I love that it doesn’t take as long as our last washer either. Seems like almost half the time for a load to be done and yet better _x000D_ cleaning ability. More options available in settings. _x000D_ So far very happy.
