This washer has been very good. I like all the options on the settings, it works equally well on very large and very small loads. And the light that shines into is awesome, no more missed socks.

I never wanted a washer with infinite smart features I would never use. This washer has just the right amount of wash settings. The timer changed with each selection so you know exactly how long it will take, which is amazing. The detergent tray is very useful and intuitive and I love the smart boost to dissolve detergent pods and oxyclean pretreatment. My clothes have never been cleaner.

Compared to my old Bosch... I do like this machine more. I like how the dial will pick combinations for me and then I can just quickly adjust from there. I tend to wash a lot and cloths are really not ""dirty"". This machine lets me pick they extent of how dirty the cloths are, and, adjusts accordingly. I also like the pod dropper... and the options inside the detergent drawer. The machine runs smoothly and seems to not transfer the vibrations to the floor like my old machine. I did put both of the machines on 1" rubber gym mats, so it could be a combination of the rubber and the machine. All and all, great choice!

This new washer is a disappointment! Our old washer, also an Electrolux manufactured in October 2008, was a MUCH better machine. The new one has all these defaults built in. It should be my choice to set the spin cycle to Fast no matter what type of load/cycle I’m using! The other thing it lacks is a simple (!) rinse cycle, which would be handy when the laundry pods don’t quite dissolve like they are supposed to. And I don’t like the power switch, it is recessed and very difficult to use. You can do better!

Overall, the washer works well with some nice features. We upgraded our older Electrolux washer and dryer that lasted us about 13 years. They seem to work well and we like the new timer added. But, there are a couple things we aren’t crazy about compared to our older models. The power button.. Instead of hitting power, select cycle and hitting start. I think the new washer should just go in sleep mode. To wake, select cycle, hit start or just hit start if it’s already in the desired cycle.
