2 Loud annoying fan

The loud, annoying fan turns on every time we use the range. I get that needs to be the case with the oven, but why when we use the cooktop? We had a rude Electrolux service person come out to tell us it was perfectly normal. The fan sounds like a pulsing, dying hair dryer. I hate it!

Overall the range works well. The gas top burners are a bit tricky to get started and keep lit, have to get knob in just right place to maintain the flame after they initially light.

2 Wish this Range Worked a Good as it Looks!

We bought an Electrolux 30 inch Dual-Fuel range in April 2024. We have had problems with it ever since. When it was first installed there was an electrical short circuit inside the range. Service people came out and repaired the problem. he burners make soot on the bottom of our pots. When the service people were here, they tried to adjust the flame but the adjustments were at the limit. Nothing further occurred since. The self cleaning function is basically useless, it does not do anything to grease splatters. I guess it's for people that don't actually use the range! This week we went to adjust the time, because Daylight Savings Time ended. There was nothing in the manual about how to adjust the time. There is a section that tells how to initially set the time, but nothing more. I had to contact customer support to find out how to adjust the time. Overall, we are very disappointed with this range. Avoid Electrolux, they are NOT worth the money!

1 Worst experience ever!

Before the stove was 1 year old the oven stopped working, It displayed an ERR 8 code so I notified the warranty department. It has been 3 months now and the stove is still out of commission. We went through Thanksgiving and Christmas without the use of the oven. Parts were not available for the repair & 3 different items were affected. The stove is supposed to be repaired tomorrow and I hope this unacceptable delay will end. The factory repair man told me that doing the self clean raises the temp so high it fries the electronics, and this is a known defect. The warranty department kept lying to me about the parts being shipped to me. They seemed to have no concern about the stove being out of commission, lying about the parts being in and shipped, yet I was told that they were so sorry. Only 1 C/S man Ken told me the parts had been on backorder for a very long time. I have been a loyal Electrolux customer with purchasing 2 stoves, 2 dishwashers and a washer & dryer. I just wish the loyalty was returned.

5 Love this range!

The range is of great quality. Theresa little bit of a learning curve using the gas burners, but it’s worth it. We got dual fuel, so the oven is electric. We really love the even baking temperature of an electric oven.

1 Continued Failures

Terrible reliability - continues to malfunction! Here’s a summary of our experience in the 2 1/2 years since we purchased our dual-fuel range: 8/18/2022 - purchased the 30” Electrolux Dual Fuel Range for ~$4200 - 7/2024 - Oven quit heating and displayed error code 2. We contacted our warranty provider, but with delays in service and parts availability, we were without the oven for almost 6 weeks. We paid $150 warranty deductible. Repair was made, oven worked again. - 1/05/2025 - Oven displayed same error code 2 again, however, the next day the error code disappeared and it worked again. - 2/19/2025 - Oven displayed same error code 2 for a third time and we had to contact the warranty service again. We had to pay another $150 deductible. Service provider completed assessment and ordered the same part that failed last year. We had to pay $894 upfront for the service call and the part that he ordered. - 3/6/2025 - We are still waiting for Electrolux to communicate their approval to the warranty service to pay the claim. The warranty service said they are not receiving a reply from Electrolux. We can’t schedule service until the approval is completed. 3/14/25 - Electrolux has approved repair, but now waiting for service date next week. - We contacted Electrolux Customer Service through the online chat and described the above situation. The best that the representative could offer was an additional 2 year extended warranty for $236. We don’t want to pay any more money for covering an oven that continues to fail. I asked for a reduced cost for an extended warranty that would cover all parts and repair costs and the representative said he would get back to me. He never did and ended the chat. We invested specifically in an Electrolux oven when we moved into our new home because it was a higher quality oven. Our costs to date have totaled an additional $1194 ($150 deductible *2 plus $894 for service, parts) after the $4200 purchase price within the first 2 1/2 years. In addition, we have been without use of the over for ~8 weeks during these malfunctions.

1 ERR2 message and oven not working…again- a LEMON

We purchased the 30” Electrolux Dual Fuel Range in August, 2022. In July, 2024, the oven quit heating and displayed error code 2. We contacted our extended warranty provider, but with delays in service and parts availability, we were without the oven for almost 6 weeks. We paid $150 warranty deductible. The repair was made and the oven worked again. In February, 2025, the oven displayed the same error code (ERR2) and would not heat. We had to contact the warranty service again, and had to pay another $150 deductible. A service provider completed an assessment and ordered the same part that failed last year. We had to pay $894 for the service call and the part that he ordered. Repair was delayed, as the warranty provider was awaiting a response from Electrolux, which took over 10 days. In both cases, the repair consisted of replacing the main PC board, part number 5304527570. Since this is the second occurrence with the same issue within 6 months, we contacted Electrolux Customer Service through the online chat and described the above situation. The best that the representative could offer was an additional 1 year extended warranty for $248. The communication process with both Electrolux and the warranty company is extremely painful and frustrating because we either have a long hold time while eventually being connected to a representative overseas or we have to initiate a chat with a representative with limited authority.
