This dryer bought in April 2023 is MUCH BETTER than the similar one ( also Electrolux) we got in 2018. The lint basket has been majorly improved and it is more quiet running than our previous dryer.

I replaced a Kenmore dryer, this this new Electrolux dryer. After using it for a month I can say it takes longer to dry, there is more lint escaping beyond the filter (when you remove lint filter to clean you can see lint in area below…which is concerning after only a month of use. My clothes seem more wrinkled. Not sure if I need additional dry time, but as stated it already takes longer than my previous model. Because of the extended dry time, I find I am waiting on the dryer to finish extending the amount of time I am doing laundry. _x000D_ And 100% agree with other reviews about lint build up on door gasket. So much so I now keep a designated hand towel on dryer to wipe away lint on door gasket between each use. _x000D_ Does it work. Yes. Do I miss my old dryer. Yes. Will I buy this brand again….probably not. At the same price point I could have done better. _x000D_ Overall, it’s okay.

I have only had it for a month but so far it runs great. My only complaint is that the "normal" cycle does not dry very well, even with the "boost" on. I have found that increasing the temperature helps, or using the time cycle works better. Regardless, I am very happy with my purchase.

We could not be more happy with our choice of the Electrolux Front Load Perfect Steam Gas Dryer to replace our aging and malfunctioning Samsung set. We have found a truly quality addition to our clothing care line up. We were searching for a washer/dryer pair on pedestals to improve storage and raise the loading position up so we didn't have to bend over to load and unload anymore. The Electrolux set we purchased rated high marks in all the reviews we read and has not disappointed in any way - and we use it for multiple loads daily. Using the Electrolux our clothing drys faster, using lower heat settings coming out soft and not over-dried. This dryer is incredibly quiet and vibration free - our (not that old Samsung) rattled so loudly we could hear it throughout the house. One never regrets buying quality - Shape Your Living for the Better!

Retired now. worked in the Appliance repair field on laundry for the last 20 years of my 43 year career ending in 2015. After looking at whats available now and what I know about construction of laundry appliances there definitely were brands I WOULD NOT choose. I didnt care about any one particular feature. I chose Electrolux because I'm confident in the quality.

Luv that you have numerous options to use to dry for certain type and size of amount of clothes. Can not provide opinion of the amount of gas used, still in the 30 month, will not know till after. Luv the style of lint tray, catches the smallest amount on each load, this will assist in keeping the dryer vent clean for a longer period of time. Only complaint is the ring at the end of each cycle we should be able to increase the sound to hear and or turn off. Not sure if the off option is available. Other than that, great appliance so far.

Never expected to purchase an Electrolux product when my wife and I were shopping for new quality appliances. Always considered Electrolux out of reach, but after a few weeks of comparison shopping discovered that superior quality and craftsmanship are within reach. We both spotted the difference between other brands and ours, Electrolux. A well known, reliable and respected company that clearly provides the dependability our family needs. We are more than happy with our cost effective purchase.
