Appliance shopping can be an undoubting ordeal since the last time we bought a new washer/dryer was over 15 years ago. That said, the functionality, various options, cavernous interior, quiet drying cycles and beautiful color of the Electrolux Perfect Steam LuxCare stackable dryer and washer have far exceeded our expectations. Our laundry room configuration required a stacking unit, but more importantly we required BOTH dryer and front loading washer to open from the left and hinged on the right. Electrolux is the only manufacturer that has the ability to reverse the door on the washing machine. BRAVO for having this as an option which puts these appliances on a higher level.

I bought the Electrolux Perfect Steam gas dryer and absolutely love it! I especially like the instant refresh cycle. It's great for clothes that are still clean but are wrinkled. 10 minutes and they look like freshly washed!

This dryer works really well. I love the auto dry feature that will shut off when the clothes are dry even if more time is left. It's a larger dryer, so there's plenty of room to dry large loads of laundry or king sized quilts. It's relatively quiet for a dryer (depending on what you have inside) and looks really great stacked with the washer in my laundry room. There's also a light inside the machine so that no socks get lost.

For years I held onto my Kenmore front loading washing machine, in part because I had heard so many negative comments about the performance of new washing machines. But a few weeks ago the companion Kenmore dryer gave up the ghost, and I knew it was only a matter of time before the washer followed suite. Our local, family owned appliance store strongly recommended Electrolux so we took the plunge into both a new dryer & washer. What had I been waiting for ??!! This is a dream machine !! Not only are clothes coming out CLEANER at the end of a load, but it's a remarkably easy washer to use. I LOVE the Tide pod dispenser. And finally a pleasant sound to signal when a load is completed instead of the annoying sound my former washer produced. Color of the machine compliments the decor of our laundry room. I'm loving my dream machine !!!!

Just purchased this dryer about a month ago. Seems to work great so fart. Not as hot as my old dryer which is a good thing. It has plenty of settings for different drying options which I'm still getting use to.

I love my new dryer. It drys clothes quick and has many options for wrinkle release or steam dry.

After about 5 loads we already have an issue with this machine. It is undiagnosed, so it is possible it was user error. The machine makes a loud scraping noise when spinning. From reading possible causes it sounds like the internal anatomy has just fallen apart in some way— but it’s possible some loose item got lodged inside the machine. If the later is the case, I’m surprised that happened so easily.
