We needed more space than the 8 cu ft chest freezer we had for a decade. We wanted to be able to more easily see items in the freezer instead of everything being buried in the chest style. Lowes did not have freezers on the floor to view but we scoured the Lowe's site details, reviews and decided on this Frigidaire because 1. our other Frigidaire was dependable, and 2. this updated model had an alarm sound capability in case the door was left open or temp drops. We are EXTREMELY pleased with our new beautiful 16 cu ft freezer and an added feature we didn't expect is the awesome helpful easy-to-see green light that illuminates on the floor like a Star Wars hologram quickly reassuring us that our freezer is on. Our foods are more frozen than ever now! This baby gets COLD! Shazam! Money well-invested for years to come and super spacious with room to add more healthy food. Uprights leave WAY more room in your garage as well!

I was so happy when this freezer came back in stock. Have had it about 3 weeks, and it has exceeded my expectations. Roomy and well lit inside. It holds a lot, so am glad I went with the smaller 16 cu. ft. size due to space limitations in garage. I'm using plastic bins to keep the items organized on the shelves. Like the blue light shining on the outside that lets me know it's working, as it's very quiet. Great product!

After frig was delivered I had to reverse the door, which was quit easy and the instruction booked held with that. We did have an issue with the seal but the warranty took care of that, the technician that came out told me due to the door being closed on one side for whatever period of time the seal compressed. The tech took care of the issue quickly, and the freezer is working great.

Thrilled that this freezer was made for the garage. Just what I was needing. Had a problem with frost build up, but they send a repairmen out right away and took care of it.

Bought this Freezer 3 months ago. It has worked fantastic! Great features with the exterior light and door alarm. Keeps items frozen nicely. TONS of room. Have hardly seen a difference in my electric bill. Talked about about it so much that my friend bought the exact same one. Very happy with my purchase.
