I like that this has a very powerful suction. But its very noisy and I would guess its because of the power. But after about 5-7 minutes of continuous running, it makes a kind of grinding noise similar to if 2 metal pieces are rubbing each other. I was told this was by design!!???

Lots of pull up so that smoke and odors are pulled out of the kitchen. There is a damper than is closed when the hood is not on so that no cold air can get into the kitchen. It is good looking and the lights are bright enough to allow easy viewing of what is cooking.

It’s been in for several weeks and when the fan is turned on it has a loud rattling sound. I believe I will need to call for service since it’s under warranty. Great looking but way too noisy.

I do not understand how only after using this thing 3 times the motor died. I only gave 1 star because it was still under warranty and the motor was replaced. I would not recommend. Customer service was very nice and professional.
