This was installed in a new construction home we purchased so we were stuck with it. It is way too noisy, sounding like an airplane landing. We don't use and will be replacing.

We bought a brand new house and upgraded the kitchen so that we could have this beautiful hood vent above our gas stove. We’ve been using it for two months and we love it. I’m so happy we did. I definitely recommend this hood vent.

Our new house came with Frigidaire appliances. We are really disappointed of their quality. Specially this vent hood. Six month after we moved the vent hood just stopped. The technician said the motor was damaged permanently. They changed it. Now a year after that the vent hood is not working again and looks like the same issue. The worst part is the warranty just cover one time motor replacement.

The motor died in a week of using it. The technician who came did not even check it and claimed it was the motor. ( so it’s a common occurrence ) and he coughed all over my kitchen ( active Covid time ) and was NOT wearing a mask. Needless to say this made me very unhappy. I had to clean and sterilize my entire kitchen afterwards ! Please tell your techs to be more mindful. Even the one that came to fix the motor a week later did not wear a mask. _x000D_ But the work was done efficiently. So thank you.

It looks great and it is easy to install however mine was delivered with only 2 filters. I wrote to customer service and unfortunately no one has reached out to me so I guess after spending $700+ on this hood I'll spend another $40 on a filter._x000D_ _x000D_ FYI - it is noisy but i doesn't bother me.

Friday I get my hood replaced for second time. Who designed a thermometer that cant be reset without replacing the unit? _x000D_ _x000D_ If you cook something hot (for me its searing a steak on this) better do it outside this unit cant handle high heat and if the unit gets hot you have to replace it. This is the equivalent of popping a breaker then needing your entire house rewired. _x000D_ _x000D_ If you have a choice, do anything but this unit. PS wonder why they will sell extended warranties on everything under the sun EXCEPT for this.
