bought december 1st and quit working on january 14th. after cooking baked potatoes the microwave would not power. now the microwave does not heat. checked all the trouble shooting tips. tried to make a service request online through samsung and got a message that they do not service my area and to call 1-800 number. they make it very inconvenient to get assistantance on a brand new appliance.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

the microwave looks great, but has major design flaws preventing you from using the microwave heat\cook function if you set a timer. who would ever want a microwave with a timer function that prevents you from using the microwave to cook? additionally, the fan speeds (used to vent because this is an over the range microwave) slows to a crawl as soon as you use the microwave cook feature, and doesn't even speed back up after cooking is complete. this too seems to me like a major design flaw if the microwave doesn't have enough power to run the vent fan and cook at the same time. the touch panel printed buttons are off from the activation point, and has "cracking" sounds like broken plastic underneath. i expect a short life from this microwave (currently 1 month old).

great look and features. my only dislike is that the display doesn't light up so it is hard to read the various options in the evening. otherwise totally happy with this microwave.

First unit was dented and they didn’t even bring on delivery date. We had to contact Samsung to get a replacement and after 9 days we received the second one, which did all the functions but DID NOT HEAT! Samsung didn’t want to replace even though it arrived like this. It took 3 visits, almost 3 weeks and they had to order 3 different parts because apparently they didn’t even know how to fix, and the company still kept denying the replacement. Now I have a refurbished microwave that has been opened several times. Reviews have been declined. Don’t recommend product or support.

i love samsungs microwave, the interior looks more the inside of a oven then all my previous microwaves that were white & stained over time. no middle rack....yayyyy which was never used! always had to remove it prior to use. the size allows me to ise my largest serving bowls, cover it and have room left over. inside the door provides a label for a variety of control settings from veggies, to reheat, fit choice etc...looks beautiful with my other samsung aplliances! clock setting was tricky, hold the #7 for 3 seconds and tap numbers for time, hold 7 again to place pm or am

This microwave has every option I need. The only thing I wish it had is a lighted control panel. It is black so often it is hard to read. I would buy again though if I had to replace it..

it has been a difficult purchase. the features are out-dated, in that they don't provide options for entering time on the time pad. more user friendly microwaves expect the # key you hit to be the time you want for cooking. this will be a microwave i keep but not one i will really like, and that is too bad. the tech in this is below samsung's leadership standard.

i have had this microwave since 4/11, over 2 months now. samsung said in 24-48 hours it would finally be resolved. that was over 96 hours ago. samsung cancelled the repair that was scheduled and still has not resolved the situation. they blamed the non-working microwave on lowes where i bought it from. lowes has a 2 day return policy on microwaves. 2 days. never buy a microwave from lowes unless you plan to install and test immediately. this has been a horrible experience and i still do not have a microwave. my last ge microwave, still worked and had worked for 30 years. unfortunately i tossed it when i installed the samsung, which has never worked. if 0 was an option that is what this product would get for a rating, as well as samsung support.
